Key Stage 3
One period a week is given to each subject. All pupils follow the National Curriculum programme of study for both subjects. Both areas are well resourced with a variety of textbooks, computer software, video/DVD resources and other teaching material.
Key Stage 4
GCSE History and Geography are popular option choices at GCSE. Students study the AQA specification in Geography and Edexcel specification in History.
Key Stage 5
Both subjects have a good take up rate. Geography examines the physical and human aspects of our environment. The study of History A-level includes Tudor England and Modern World History.
